STOP and think!

How do you know there’s a “crisis”? And what is a “crisis” anyway?

I bet that one night you went to bed and there wasn’t such a “thing”, but when you woke up you heard (from the Media) that there was a “crisis”. What if you didn’t turned on the radio, you didn’t watch the news or you didn’t read the newspapers? You wouldn’t have known that there is a “crisis” and you would have carried on with your life with the state of mind that everything is the way it was the day before. There’s always the danger that somebody would fill you in the news, but you can always ignore the suggestion.

I did not know there was a “crisis” until recently. None of the people who I communicate with are talking about a “crisis”. We are talking about prosperity and how to be helpful to one another and as many people around the world as possible.

“There is NO “crisis”! The sun is still rising every morning. The Earth and its oceans are still giving us plentiful their treasures. The planet’s circle of life follows its course without stopping because they know NO “crisis.”

There is NO “crisis”! What you hear from the Media is simply somebody’s marketing campaign. It is paid with mass psychosis, hypnosis and fear. It’s at the expense of people around the world. The idea is indeed to get scared. Someone wants you to have a certain mindset, a certain way of thinking… I think differently. And you can do too.

A few days ago one of my neighbors told me that flu is coming. I looked around but I didn’t see it. I asked her “How do you know flu is coming? And she replied with a question “Don’t you watching TV? “No, I don’t,” I replied. I have never caught flu in my entire life, but I knew there was a word for it. She, however, gets flu every year she hears about it and she is grateful for the next, new drug on the market instead of eating crushed garlic, lemon and honey! (Not mixed together, of course.

If there is any “crisis”, this is a crisis of ignorance, a crisis of thinking. If you think “crisis” you are screwed. You obeyed and undoubtedly accepted someone else’s way of thinking. Or the way they want you to think. The truth is you have the power to choose your own thoughts and ignore those external influences that are not in line with your idea of ​​welfare. Think prosperity!

Concentrate your thoughts on to helping as many people as possible with the best products or services you have repeatedly. This is a proven prosperity formula. Think how you can become wealthy by increasing the people you now serve instead of decreasing them. You don’t help yourself or anybody else for that matter if you maintain fear, poor state of mind and existence. Remember, recession / crisis is your biggest chance for prosperity because the market has a screaming need for change, know-hows, new products and services, new approach, new values and new ways of thinking.

BTW one of the meanings of the word “crisis”, in Japanese (危機 = kiki), is „opportunity“. The word consists of two symbols 危 =”danger” and 機 =”opportunity”.

The most brilliant business and marketing minds on the planet will tell you like they told me, “Focus on a niche or group of people and serve them well”. Do not waste your resources in trying to reach everybody on the planet. However you look at it everybody cannot be your customer anyway.

Find out who your client or avatar is. Who your product or service is most suitable for? Who do you want to serve? May be ONLY women, ONLY men, ONLY children, ONLY mothers, ONLY a certain age group of women and/or men, ONLY tourists, ONLY lawyers, ONLY disabled people, ONLY the middle class, ONLY golfers, ONLY the medical society, ONLY property owners, ONLY, ONLY, etc., etc. They all have specific needs and desires that must be met. Find out what they are, research them, ask them personally what they need and want, create a product or service and give it to them.  However, there are times when you have a solution to a problem they didn’t know existed. Then you simply market it with all marketing tools available to you to reach the right for your product or service consumer.

The first thing your avatar should see is the smile on your face or in the tone of your voice, warm attitude and respect for them because your well-being depends on theirs. Tony Hsieh, 34 years old, co-founder and CEO at ZAPPOS a company, which started by selling shoes online in 2000, grew it to over 1 billion dollars in only three years! Tony shares that he invests mainly in Customer Service not in marketing. Word of mouth is the best marketing ever! Period! According to another giant in business thinking, Dan Kennedy, “It is cheaper and easier to sell to an existing customer second time than to turn a new lead into a loyal customer“. This is why every respected and hardworking, customer orientated company is represented on Social Networks like Facebook. This gives new and existing customers the opportunity to research the company before they decide to buy.

The phrase “People have no money” is particularly popular these days. Who invented it? Have you personally seen it with my own eyes? Where did the money go? Nowhere! It’s still here, changing its place, moving from pocket to pocket. It’s a market day every day! Just think. Can you go without the need to buy something even for a day? Position yourself in the marketplace so money goes into your pocket. Shrinking the span of your own ability is not going to do it. Allow yourself to think big. Inhabit your mind with big ideas. Think big!

Mark Victor Hansen, another brilliant marketing, business mind and philanthropist says, “It takes as much energy to think small as to think big. If we think at all might as well think big.”

Do not put limits your own abilities!

In the name of your personal prosperity and that of your family or friends, and ultimately of your country I want you to stop thinking of “crisis” as something negative. It’s actually your chance to prosperity. Don’t watch the news! It doesn’t server the idea of prosperity. Statistics show that there isn’t a single person who had prospered watching TV. Concentrate all your positive energy on how to give the best of yourself, the best service, the best product to as many people, in a niche, as possible repeatedly. Concentrate on how to give the best of you in your relationships with everybody you meet. They are potentially your future friends or customers. Treat them with due care and respect.

Crisis is a way of thinking. PROSPERITY too! You have the power to choose what to think. Don’t let yourself become a victim of someone else’s (negative) marketing campaign.

The improvement of things – our personal or business lives – won’t come from the outside. The improvement will come only if we imagine it in details and give whatever it takes to achieve it, believing in the result we want. Imagine a house. The idea for it was born in the mind and then transferred to the drawing board…

Turn within your soul and listen to your inner voice and not the one of the News Presenter. Spend time on your own study, think or create, do not act out of habit or frustration. Think prosperity and nothing else that could cloud the positive images in the theatre of your mind because they are the ones that will lead you to success … always, without exception.

We, as individuals in the One – in the Universe – have the power to change ONLY ourselves. Do not expect others to change before you get better. What if they do not change? Will you allow your world to collapse? Change can occur within us first.

New Revision and the Book Translated in BG

Yeah, I know. It’s been awhile since my last posted.

You know, they are right. They say that we need to get out of our own way for anything in our life to start to develop. This is what I was busy with in the past two years – getting my personal life in order. I’m almost there. One day I will be able to tell you about it, but for now I’ll keep it to myself.

Still, in the midst of a personal mess,I am very happy to say that ‘things’ with the Global Awareness Campaign project are, slowly but surely, moving forward. I improved the book How to Avoid Unplanned Pregnancy Every Time You Have Sex Without Using Contraceptive Drugs by adding info on the contraceptive drugs and a list of their side effects as well as publishing a very important letter from one of my Social Network friends who shared her experience with non-drug methods for avoiding Unplanned Pregnancy. It was SO impressed by what she had to say that I HAD to publish it. Of course, I asked for permission before that.

I also got the book translated into Bulgarian, which brings us closer to our target of making it available in all 6980 living languages. No, please, don’t start with the maths now! We have a good plan how to do it, but one thing at a time. Remember, I need to get out of my way by sorting my personal life first. I set the process and soon things will start to (rock &) roll.

The New York Times Features a New Abstinence-Only-Program that Aims to Delay the Start of Sexual Activities

Any effort to help young people avoid Unwanted Pregnancy (UP) deserves attention. A recent study http://archpedi.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/short/164/2/152?home led by a husband-wife team at the University of Pennsylvania featured by The New York Time http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/08/opinion/08mon1.html?hp shows some encouraging results, however, how likely it is to teach nature not to reproduce. How likely it is to suppress the most potent natural instinct? Could there be a better way?

What if we educate young adults in the numerous non-drugs, including natural, some common sense methods for avoiding UP as well as what will make or break a long-lasting, loving relationship.

What if we trust young people to make the right for them decision about the contraceptive methods they use, of course, after they know all about their options.

What if we trust them to care for one another as they mature?

Abstinence always has its place especially during the ovulation period. HOWEVER, how many young adults know that it lasts up to 5 days every month? Knowing this, how difficult it will be to persuade them to be disciplined about abstaining from sexual activity during that particular time.

Write an Important Book with Us

We would like to invite you to contribute to the writing of Pett Corby´s second book on natural methods for avoiding Unplanned Pregnancy (UP). All methods described in her first book were part of a research process. This new book is not going to differ in that respect. Indeed, it is the intention to build upon the knowledge gained about this subject previously, and if possible, to enlarge and enhance its usefulness and general applicability to as wide an audience as possible.

Please if you can, therefore, share with us the natural methods you use, or have previous knowledge and experience of from personal usage for avoiding the Problem. If you can also tell us how you came to have such knowledge, we would be most grateful.

In 2008 Pett Corby visited an online Forum concerned with the side-effects of contraceptive drugs. A message posted by a young man compelled her to commit herself to spread the simple knowledge she herself was already in possession of. He wrote that his girlfriend had started a contraceptive drug a week previously, and which at the time, had seemed to completely change her behaviour. From a normally happy and balanced young woman, she became depressive; crying at all times, feeling down and useless. She also lost her sex-drive, and didn´t even wish to kiss or hug him. To achieve this, we will be establishing VG as a Club for Good Causes, and although the first series of planned events will be in support of the UP Campaign, which will continue for many years, we will also be adding further worthy Good Causes into our Agendas for the deployment of the VG Registered Artistes.  As a result, many more Events, Musical Productions and Videos will emerge over the years than we originally conceived.

Why Children are Having Children (3)

Because the best part of adults do not know how to avoid the problem of Unplanned Pregnancy (UP).

Our sex-taboo culture skirts around such issues, and the problems this attitude causes, pile up. Dropping out of school due to UP or abortion, for instance, would probably never occur if we – the adults – knew and shared with our children the simple knowledge about avoiding UP using only a variety of natural methods.

Instead, and now without Parental sanction, it seems, the State proposes the Pill for all teenage girls. Popping in the pill, however, puts the Responsibility for our own actions elsewhere. The subject, by right, should first be thought through as a serious family matter at home, because every so often, the natural embarrassment of talking about sex at schools just makes the subject a laughing matter, thereby making it trivial.

Some might also argue, that for young developing adults who are beginning to experience hormonal changes, it is very difficult to simply educate them in sexual matters; and then to tell them not to actually behave sexually, is ludicrous.  No other subjects are taught in this way, so it is little wonder that the rate of teenage pregnancy has risen and continues to rise alarmingly.

The natural methods we advocate, are proven, simple, easy to understand, and most importantly, they work, despite that the opposite, State-sponsored drug-based option is the solution of choice selected by the various Authorities involved with the children’s health and education, thereby attempting to remove such welfare and moral choices from the family’s control.

6 said both Education and Training

1 said neither

5 wrote “no comment”

9 didn´t understand the question

22 didn´t answer the question, but expressed their support of our Global Awareness Campaign and our approach to the subject.

I want to be able to talk to my daughter and take her to get the help she needs if sex becomes a part of her mind. what people fail to realize is that when the teachers talk to these students about sex, it is a game for them just another line on their check, they tend to laugh it out with the students and when the bell ring it’s a “stop the conversation and i’ll see you later” situation. in the home with me and my girls, time is all i have and i don’t want to leave them with a laugh….I can say that about the teachers because I am 24 and i gratuated in 2003 all of the high school talk is still a little fresh in my mind. these teachers some of them don’t care about the students, if they did half of the girls around here who look at their teachers as role models, who don’t have anyone to care for them at the home will not be having kids of their own.”

Here are some remarks provided by a recent respondent in support of our campaign.  My thanks to that lady, who didn´t sign her name, for her contribution, which is:

“I would prefer that they can be educated by sex training, and sex education.  I really don’t care how they are being educated by sex; the bottom line, they know what is up, and what to do about it.

Back in the days, some parents didn’t know how to explain sex to teenagers; when you ask, some might say, “child, get out of my face”, or act as if they don’t know what you’re talking about.  My experience was that either I learned from books, friends, the streets, and experience first hand.”

We are all wired to have sex, well most are, so we need to prepare the next generation as to the pitfalls associated with premature activity that can lead to so many complications including disease and unwanted pregnancy, and even death.

During school, children are taught some sexual information, but in my opinion, the parents should have already been preparing their child for the realities that seems to face our youth at a younger and younger age.

When I think of training in regard to this subject matter, I would image learning methods to grow more intimate with your partner and learn to heighten and help each other achieve the ultimate experience. Obviously this would be for older, more mature individuals.

While this is a sensitive topic – the bottom line is – people have sex, so if they learn from the medical facts and/or experiences of others help them to make the correct decisions as they proceed through life, I am all for it.”

I am a mom of six…blended family and I believe my greatest passion in life is to be a great mom and mentor!

Four of our children are in teen (one is 21) and we speak openly to our children about being in Loving Relationships!

In the case of sex education, I would prefer my teenaged daughter to be properly informed about the risks involved in having sex and all that goes with being sexually active.  Unfortunately, I did not have parents who felt comfortable enough to properly discuss sex with me.  As a  result, I learned by experimenting as most teenagers do.  Thank God I was fortunate enough not to become pregnant.  That was purely by the grace of God.

More importantly, I believe it’s important to educate parents in order that training begins at home.  When these topics are presented in school, social settings, T.V., etc., they become either confirmation of the truth of consequences.”

There´s no Such a Thing as an Unplanned Pregnancy (1)

… At least not for me. This was made possible with the simple knowledge I found in a little booklet when I was 16. Since then I´ve lived life without fear of Unplanned Pregnancy (UP). Two years ago, before I got the idea to write a book on the subject, I was blissfully ignorant about the problems people around me were having with UP or contraceptive drugs. Frankly I was lucky to have read *that* book at the most appropriate time of my life, but it seems that not many people had it *that* easy.

Yet, it is so simple and easy to avoid UP using only natural and proven ways. You will be amazed… If you have teenage children make them aware of this link, www.you-choose-when.com and by all means start to research natural family planning… The trouble with contraceptive drugs is that they don´t always work (60% of Australian women became pregnant while on conventional contraception.*), but also, since they come with side effects, which can require even more prescribed drugs that may also have side effects… I initiated an awareness campaign on MySpace on 12 January 2008 after our UK Health Minster, Lord Darzi, introduced contraceptive drugs for FREE to children under 16 years of age. I found his decision both abhorrent and totally unnecessary. I thought our children don´t need drugs to avoid UP, but instead, a simple information that will allow them to avoid the problem at no cost or toxic side effect every time.

The Campaign quickly received the support of parents, teenage girls & boys and people from all walks of life including politicians and music artists. We formed Virtual Gigs band, which will tour the world spreading the word for the next 30 years. Today, just over a year after the Campaign was created, it has received the support of over 20,000 people. However, our goal is to reach and share this knowledge with 1 billion people by 2020.
